Last night, I bought an apron from Plaza Sing because it was pretty, but mostly it was because I was looking forward to trying out new recipes and cooking at home during my break :)

And then later at home, I walked past the tv when they were showing snippets of American Idol Top 12 on cable. Managed to catch a few seconds of each contestant, whom I have never sat down to see or heard before, but one very special voice singing Beatles’ “Let it Be” touched me and gave me goosebumps all over.

I googled it on Youtube today and quickly scribbled another line into my notebook. Why?
Here’s why.

The line under the “To-do list” reads,”To learn to play and sing “Let It Be” on the piano a la Brooke White” *giggles*

I’ve always admired people who can play the piano/guitar well, particularly if they happen to have a good voice and spontaneous personality to go along with it, and it was always my dream to be able to pick up the guitar, strum and sing away my blues, or simply to share a song with my friends and loved ones around me.

Speaking of to do list, I googled “things to do” out of boredom and stumbled across a website which required you to list down 50 things you want to do in your lifetime, and that was really exciting for me, keeping me up till 3am planning =X

I reflected and realised that most of the things on my to-do list have been cleared off, be it minor errands to run, or big important goals. They were mostly achievable goals, or rather, I would subconsciously break them down and put down into specific stuff like “Source for gym membership/Attend Yoga lesson” instead of writing down “Lose 5 kg, lose the bat wings and develop buns of steel”. This little method has helped me to maximize the value of my time and in turn, also helped me to develop confidence along the way because it seemed like nothing was really unattainable (ya right you silly woman)!

Some items on my list this year read:

1. Do tandem jump in Oz

2. Summer Europe trip (postponed :( )

3. Learn to kill and cook crab (instead of knowing just how to eat)

4. Visit Cambodia - consume reptiles and insects and visit the Angkor Wat quick!

5. Complete French I.

6. Complete SCM in 4.5 hrs =X

7. Along with some materialll wantsssss~~ (For I am only human and woman.)

8. Too lazy/too private to share with you.

As I come to almost the end of the entry, I’ve just realised that the goal of getting a driving license was not declared.

On MSN today, I msged Jenny who asked me last night when I was going to sit for my ahem, Basic Theory Test.

Me: “Hey, I think I’d rather learn to play a piano than to drive a car”.

Her: “Good for you.”

Guess I won’t be getting a license to drive anything other than my mother up the wall for the time being. :P
